Clarissa has significant experience representing local and multinational property developers and investors in dealings such as acquisitions, disposals, and arrangements concerning tenancies and leases for a variety of properties of both landed and strata titled properties. Her expertise covers a broad range of property types, including but not limited to, residential, industrial, and commercial spaces, office units and buildings, factories vacant land and Malay Reserve Lands.

Clarissa also handles a wide range of family-related services, including Probate, Letters of Administration, drafting of Wills, Trust Deeds, and Prenuptial Agreements. Her expertise extends to Unilateral Divorce, Judicial Separation, Child Adoption, and Custody, as well as Citizenship Matters. With experience in representing clients across various court levels, she provides comprehensive legal support with a strong focus on compassionate guidance and effective advocacy in all family law matters.

  • Represented a client in securing a lease for a vacant plot in Kuala Lumpur, culminating in a  rental agreement of RM1.62 million

  • Facilitated the acquisition of agricultural land in Malaysia for a client, with the total transaction valued at RM2 million

  • Provided legal advise to a developer in forming a joint venture with an investor for a housing development project valued at RM550 million

  • Advised a developer on the bulk purchase of 300 housing units in Selangor 

  • Represented a main contractor in reaching a Settlement Agreement worth approximately RM650,000 with a developer

  • Worked with top developers in Malaysia on the sale of properties across Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Negeri Sembilan

  • Conducted seminars for developers on the development of laws pertaining to Schedule H and G

  • Provided legal opinions to developers on various aspects of their projects, including the delivery of vacant possession, defect liability, and latent defects

  • Advised developers on their responsibilities during the management period

  • Drafted prenuptial agreements for couples, ensuring clarity on the financial and personal arrangements prior to their marriage

  • Facilitated the legalization of foreign decree nisi from Singapore, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong

  • Assisted foreign  clients, who are not proficient in Malay or English, in obtaining the letter of administration for their loved ones' estate, including the transfer of properties and withdrawal of funds from banks

  • Provided legal advice and support to a beneficiary to obtain an injunction against an executor who was unwilling to fulfill the obligations outlined in the Will

  • Crafted a settlement agreement for a Japanese couple, enabling them to amicably resolve their disputes 

  • Advised a foreign spouse on the procedural requirements and legal considerations for adopting Malaysian children

  • Successfully negotiated a joint petition matter, securing RM50,000 in damages for a client from her husband due to adultery, avoiding the need for a trial

  • Assisted in the recovery of overdue wife maintenance fees through various enforcement measures, including garnishee orders and seizure and sale proceedings
