01 Formation of Ryan Tan & Co.
Established in Penang by its eponymous founder, Mr. Ryan Tan, the firm initially specialized in litigation, handling a wide array of cases ranging from minor disputes to significant legal battles. Over time, as more partners and lawyers joined the firm, Ryan Tan & Co expanded its areas of practice to include corporate cases and conveyancing, rapidly growing its portfolio and reputation.

Founded in Selangor the dynamic duo of Clarissa Tan Wei Minn and Wong Ke Xin, the firm started with a focus on conveyancing but quickly grew as it welcomed more legal talents into its fold. This expansion allowed Clarissa Wong & Partners to diversify its services, offering a more comprehensive suite of legal solutions to meet the growing demands of its clients.
03 Merger of the Firms
The merger in 2022 between these two legal powerhouses led to the formation of Clarissa Tan & Wong, combining decades of legal experience and expertise from both legacy firms. 04 Formation of Johore Branch
In 2023, Clarissa Tan & Wong further extended its reach by opening a third branch in Johor, solidifying its presence in three key Malaysian cities: Penang, Kuala Lumpur, and Johor. This expansion has made it easier for clients across Malaysia to access the firm's comprehensive and professional legal services, ensuring that high-quality legal assistance is more convenient and readily available.
